Awesome! Very well done. And I just think the whole “Buffy meets P&P” is going to bring in so many readers.

Wow. A book trailer that actually makes me want to read the book. LOL. Seriously, some book trailers are just long and boring but I liked this one. Short and sweet and the music was cool. Nice job!

Very very awesome, Colleen!! Love it!!
I was watching Cruel Intentions on TV last night (I don’t really like the movie all that much, but I think the soundtrack is awesome so get sucked in by the music. And the whole time I’m watching it I’m thinking of your book; my mind associated Gellar to Buffy to your book.
Just 4 more months, right?

Wow.
I’m like going to have to read this puppy NOW. Well, I’m halfway through Dead Witch Walking by Kim Harrison, but I’ll try to finish it so I can get to this. And then Playing With Fire. And then Morrigan’s Cross.
It never ends. Thank God.
Great trailer!

Between you and Meljean Brook, Colleen, I’m about going to go nuts! LOL.
PS I did send you the interview questions? I can’t find them! (if you have them, I don’t need them back so soon, but I thought I sent them to you already…right?)

Congratulations Colleen! That looks fantastic. As much of a bookworm as I am, I’ve never seen a book trailer before. What a great idea.

I saw this over at Zeek’s page and I look forward to reading it. January can’t come soon enough. Oh wait, I’m too old to be wishing my life away……

Will definitely post a link–everyone should see this!
Elegant and simple, with a huge impact.

Colleen, this is fantastic! I love it!

Thanks you all! No one can be as thrilled as I am. I think Circle of Seven Productions did a fantastic job, working with me every step of the way. I wrote the copy and they did the rest, and I think it is one of the best–if not the best–trailers they’ve done.
A talented woman named Brenda did the actual work, and I was blown away from the very first time I saw a draft of the trailer.
So thank you for your links and for spreading the word. I can’t tell you how much I appreciate it.

Annie, I’ve always wanted to see Cruel Intentions. I’m going to have to rent it because it looks interesting…and if you like the music, well, I’m a soundtrack chick and I love soundtracks.
So I’m going to check it out.

That is sweet! Love the music, the quotes, and the look of it. I’m very excited for you.
And now to call you out: I am simply beside myself to learn that you have not read Dracula! I don’t even know what to say other than to give you a hard time. I think I’ll pass out now….

Wow! That is truly something! How very excited you must be! I like the music and the font of the words. The advertisement seems to flow really well. It sure to draw in a lot of readers.

Carl, I know, I know! I really should put Dracula on my RIP list.
Zeus, I am delighted to have a cat visiting my blog. You can tell Simon to go…lick himself.

Holy crap! I usually dislike book trailers, but this one was perfect — great music, no ugly actors trying to recite dialogue. Wonderful.
*strokes beard thoughtfully*

That was really quite good. I tend to not like book trailers (the whole putting voices/faces in my head instead of lettng the book do it thing). But I liked this.

Hi Colleen,
Loved this trailer! Can you believe I’ve never seen a book trailer before either? This was a very nice first experience - very much looking forward to picking up a copy of your book in January!
