  1. Heather Harper says:

    1.Steve Perry/Journey
2.Robert Palmer? (I remember the video with the girls in black dresses…but I’m not sure about the name.)
    3.Whitesnake?
    4.Bangles
    5.I have no idea.
    6.Bad Dressers (Again, don’t know)
7.Is that Phil Collins in the suit?

    I suck at this game.

  2. Michele says:

    1. Journey
    2. Robert Palmer
    3. Foreigner
    4. The Bangles
    5. REO Speedwagon
    6. The J Geils Band
    7. Men At Work

And if I get any of these right blame it on too much MTV back in the days when they actually showed videos non-stop.

  3. Colleen Gleason says:

Wow, Michelle. All of them in one fell swoop.

Geez…you all are too good at this!

  4. Katkat says:

    I knew 4 of them. That’s fun.

  5. Janet says:

The only one I know is Robert Palmer (#2). Loved him in the 70s, not so much when he went disco ;-)

  6. Anonymous says:

Awww man, I had everyone but 6&7! Good job Michelle!

Now everyone should name a song by each- off the top of their heads huh?

  7. Carl V. says:

I was really sad when Robert Palmer died, he was still very young and I just loved his music.

  8. Annie says:

I knew 2, 4, and 7. With all the MTV I watched in my youth, I’m disappointed in myself.

  9. Jana DeLeon says:

    Where’s Motley Crue - I loved MC! :)

  10. Colleen Gleason says:

    I forgot Robert Palmer died!

Okay, for Zeek’s challenge, a song for each one:

    1. Lovin’ Touchin’ Squeezin’
    2. Addicted to Love
    3. Cold as Ics
    4. Walk Like an Egyptian
    5. Time for me to Fly
    6. Love Stinks
    7. Land Down Under

  11. Jenny Ryan says:

My husband is a HUGE Led Zeppelin fan. That is my guess for #3. It’s the huge, curly blond hair of Robert Plant that was my clue :p

  12. Megan Frampton says:

Darn it! I was too late–I knew all of them, too.

Got to see J. Geils in a tiny Cambridge bar ’cause my dad was the arts reporter for the Boston Globe.

And I HATE Steve Perry’s voice.

  13. Anonymous says:

    1. Oh Sherry
    2. Simply Irristable
    3. Waiting for a girl like you
    4. Manic Monday
    5. Keep on Loving you (love time to fly, btw!)
    6. Freeze Frame
    7. “Who Can It Be Now?”

  14. Sparky Duck says:

Wow, I should have known #3, though I think when I remember Foreigner, one of those guys was alot fatter.

    1.Faithfully
2.Some Like it Hot (when he was in that Power Station with Duran Duran)
3.I wanna Know what Love Is
4.Hazy Shade of Winter (i know its a cover)
    5.Roll with the Changes
    6.Angel in the Centerfold
    7.Damn im drawing a blank!!!
