Five Crazy Things About Me(me)

Both Jaci and Milady Insanity have tagged me to answer the meme "Five Crazy Things About Me…."

It took me all day to come up with five crazy things about myself 'cause, well, I'm not crazy. I keep telling myself that loud enough, it'll drown out all those voices in my head.

Okay, here goes:

1. I hate garbanzo beans, but I love hummus.

2. I can't get into a bed unless it's made. Even if I have to make it five minutes before I get in, I have to get into a made bed.

3. I can raise each one of my eyebrows independently of the other, one at a time. I can do this quickly or slowly. I don't know anyone else who can do that. And if you ever meet me in person, ask me to demonstrate, 'cause people always disbelieve me when I tell them I can do this.

4. I talk to myself. Constantly. (Hey! That's 'cause I think I'm the most interesting person I know!)

5. I went to an all-girls' Catholic high school. (You know what Billy Joel says about those Catholic girls, right? Wink)

Okay, so I tag Jana, Trish Mi, Janet, and Carl.

  1. Jaci Burton says:

only the good die young ;-) (eight years of catholic elementary school…i still fear the nuns)

  2. Devonna says:

On your #1, I’m the exact opposite. I love Garbanzo beans, hate hummus.

#4 ~ I do that too. I get caught sitting in my office mumbling to myself all the time. CO-workers just laugh and say “Who are you talking to now?” :-)

  3. Carl V. says:

Crazy, eh? Are you intimating that I am not sane?

I have post planned for Wed. that this will fit nicely with so look for it then! ;)

  4. Heather Harper says:

OMG. My head went numb trying to do your eyebrow trick.

  5. Lara says:

    LOL, Colleen!

#1 and #2, I’m totally with you. As to the others, I can raise one eyebrow, but not both, and not back and forth! I will *have* to see that someday!

  6. May says:

I spent 9 months in an all-girls Catholic school. It was enough and if I have a daughter, I’m not sending her to one.

Also, I’d like to say that I didn’t start the tag thing. Jaci did.

  7. Janet says:

me, Janet or some other one?

I totally want to see you wiggle your eyebrows LOL! Can you video it?

  8. May says:

    Yeah! YouTube it, Colleen!

You will be known as the Writer with the Independent Eyebrows!

  9. Colleen says:

LOL–ya know, Janet, I was thinking about doing that. I have to see if I can figure out my digital vid camera and then how to get it on the computer.

So, May, if I video it, you’ll help spread the word about the Writer with the Indy Eyebrows, right?

And it does look pretty funny.

  10. May says:

Yup! I’ll post it on my blog, because I’ve figured out how to now!
