Just ’cause Sunday’s show left me wanting more…He still effing rocks, doesn’t he? Hasn’t changed a bit. Still very very sexy.
What was your favorite Prince song?

Hmm… When Doves Cry. Or Purple Rain.

I think my all time favorite Prince song is Purple Rain, which I suppose is an obvious choice. It’s all tied into when he owned First Avenue (a club/where Purple Rain was filmed) in the 80s and we’d go in hopes of him appearing.
Alas, I was never that lucky. My son was impressed with the whole “tear off the bandana” move–he’s been practicing it every since. My daughter–she was all over the dancers’ boots.

So hard to say which is the best! I love the Ballad of Dorothy Parker, and Sexy MF (which is a b-side, I think, although I’m not trying to be ultra-cool. Plus my initials are MF).
He looked good, didn’t he? He lives near my relatives out in Minnesota, my aunt saw him once and wondered who the pretty woman in the convertible was.

I think my favorite is Kiss or DMSR. Although I do like Let’s Go Crazy and Little Nikki.
Charity, I’ve only been to Minneapolis once, but we did go out to a dance club and some of my friends swore they saw Prince in an orange leather pantsuit. It would have been the late ’80s.
Megan…he did look good! Man. I was watching that clip I posted with Let’s Go Crazy and remembered how hawt I thought he was back then, and realized he’s still just so.
LOL on the pretty woman in the convertible.
However, I must ask why, why, why he wore that handkerchief at the Super Bowl. It just reminded me too much of Aunt Jemima’s red and white checked one.

He’s sported that doo-rag for a few years now…Dunno. Bad hair day? Worried about underaccessorizing? He’s not the king of fashion subtlety, that’s for sure.

Let’s Go Crazy, probably. Or Raspberry Beret. I nearly broke up with my (now) dh when he went to see Prince on the Purple Rain tour WITHOUT ME!
My dad lives in MN, in Excelsior, not far from Paisley Park at all, and before Prince moved, we would drive by his house and see the big windmill.

I love so many Prince songs: Let’s Go Crazy, Raspberry Beret, and of course, Purple Rain. I couldn’t believe it when I heard on the radio that people were saying his performance was horrible. The man stood on a stage littered with lights playing an electric guitar in the rain - that’s dedication and showmanship as far as I’m concerned!
