New Digs.

Check out the redesign of my Web site, done by Austin DesignWorks.

I love it. I can't stop staring it at and surfing around in it.

There's a glitch with the contact form, if you're trying to tell me how much you love the new site (or my book) (or you want to ask me to be a guest on your radio show or TV show) (or you're an old high school friend who's looking me up)(or whatever)…but that should be fixed soon, and other than that, the site is swwwweeeet! as my eight year old son would say.

Dontcha think?

Oh, and by the way, there's an exclusive excerpt on the site for Rises the Night…not the same one in the back of The Rest Falls Away. So now you have another reason to go check it out!

ETA: The contact form is now working properly. So contact away!

  2. Christine d'Abo says:

Awesome site!! I like the lighter background, much easier to read. I’ll be checking out the excerpt shortly. I can’t wait!

    I like the new digs!
I’m heading over to read the excerpt too…
And I just posted a review of The Rest Falls Away and a question about the book at the end of the post.
    Absolutely loved it!

Sweet indeed! I really like the new font and the scroll decorations. Very cool.

  5. Gypsy says:

    Fancy!

  6. Colleen says:

I answered your question, SciFiChick…hope it makes sense. It’s one of those things, these Venators…

An, so glad you’re keeping tabs on things. ;-) Can’t wait to see your pics!

Christine…thanks again for the interview…hope you enjoy the excerpt read.

Carl, I love those scroll things too. The weird thing is, my original web designer actually used those scroll things before the publisher did my cover (whic of course also has similar scrolls). Cue Twilight Zone music…

Gypsy, I’m planning to get that ARC in the mail today!

LOVE the new look! I’ve done a driveby in the past, but now your blog/site will be a regular stop for me - it looks fabulous!

  10. spyscribbler says:

I’ve always loved your website; I don’t think I ever told you that. I love the design of your blog, too! Did you do that, or did the same company do that?

    Congratulations!

  11. Colleen says:

Hey…thanks for all the compliments. I can’t take credit for any of the design, except for nitpicking it as it was being created. :-)
Originally, a gal named Jax did the graphics–and the original site, before I had any real content. But now that I have more stuff going on, I wanted to redesign it to showcase it better, and the same gal who did my new blog also took Jax’s design and created what you see today.

So if you know anyone looking for a good designer, check out Austin DesignWorks. They’ve been great to work with!

  12. marina says:
