Monday Morning Quarterbacking

Happy Monday!

Is it? Do tell!

The sun's shining here, the kids are back to school after Spring Break (yay!) and I just paid all the monthly bills, so, despite the lightness of my checkbook, I'm still in a good mood.

Got a little project done over the weekend I was working on, and I'm giving away an Advance Review Copy of Rises the Night over at my other home today.

Got some great reviews about Rises over the weekend, too, so that helps. One's already posted on Vampire Romance Books, and another on Romance Divas, so check it out.

Took the kiddies to see Meet the Robinsons on Friday. It was cute, but not one I'd rave about. Nice message, and I (doh!) didn't figure out the twist until too far into it for my ego. Maybe that's because I was just half watching it, and using the other half of my brain to plot Gardella Four. (At least, that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it.)

Disturbia did well at the box office. Anyone see it?

I, too, am having a wonderful day! Well, I HAD a wonderful day - mine is now over. It’s the first day back at work after three weeks of nothing (I NEVER thought I’d say something like that) the sun was shining all day, it was 25 degrees Celsius, the kids were well behaved, and I was bright-eyed and bushy-tailed. All in all, great! I love days like this.

Colleen, I started Rises the Night last night. Needless to say, I’m enjoying it. I’m looking forward to getting a few questions answered, but I know there will be more because that’s a sign of a good series. I’ll let you know as soon as I finish.

Glad you didn’t mind going back to work, Meardaba. Since it’s something you can’t control, it’s nice to be glad!

Booklogged, glad you’re enjoying the read. Looking forward to what you think of it.

I have your book and maybe if I stopped blog-hopping I could actually read it.

I haven’t seen this movie but I did go see “The Shooter” on Sunday and enjoyed it. There’s just something about Mark Wahlberg that does it for me…even though flashes of Marky Mark hit me from time to time LOL
