Victoria in Italy

Yes, indeed. I'm pleased to confirm that The Rest Falls Away will be released in Italy in early November, and also to show the cover for the Italian version.

I love the font! It looks very mysterious and gothic, as do the buildings.

What do you think? (Can anyone translate the title?)

Literally, it’s The hunter of vampires. So, probably Vampire Hunter is a good bet. (Based on high school French and a couple of minutes with Google).

    Love the cover!

  2. Jaci Burton says:

Wicked cover! I really like that.

And yeah, the title translates to The Hunter of Vampires. :-)

  3. Jill James says:

Can’t translate Italian, but it sounds cool when you read the title. LOL Awesome cover too!!

    oooh i love the cover!

  5. Heather Harper says:

I’m going to pretend I didn’t read smart poster #1’s answer, and guess that it means The Pizza Of The Vampire.

That was what the book was about, wasn’t it? ;)

  6. Sparky Duck says:

I love the Gothicy look of the cover for sure.

  7. Deneishia says:

    That cover rocks!!!

  8. Caryle says:

Umm, did anyone else see cacciatori and think pasta? I keep picturing vampire shaped pasta now. Mmmm… Chicken cacciatori. :)

  9. Susan says:

Okay, Colleen, now you do know you’re going to have to write a spoof called “The Pizza of the Vampire,” right? Because that title is way too good to go to waste!

  10. cosmic kid says:

Oh man, that cover is awesome!

  11. Nancy says:

This is so cool. Awesome cover!

  12. hellomelissa says:

cacciatore?! sounds good enough to eat.

  13. Colleen says:

When I first looked at the title, not knowing Italian (other than the chicken cacciatori connection), it looked like it should have said “To Catch a Vampire.”

  14. Christine d'Abo says:

Oh Colleen, I love the cover! Congratulations, girl!

  15. Cory says:

I like that cover. I would pick it up. (I would probably order it if I would actually be able to read it!)

  16. Esri Rose says:

I thought it was The Stew of Vampires.

Good-looking cover. The blood makes me think of mysteries, but that’s no bad thing.

  17. Tink says:

I Cacciatori is plural, so it would be the Vampire hunters.
I’m sorry, I don’t really like the cover… The original one is sooo much better, and it fits the story much more. Just my two cents

  18. Katie says:

WOW! That is so great! Congrats, Colleen! That is just so fantastic :) And I love the cover, it’s perfect

  19. Stephanie says:

Ohh, I LOVE that cover! By the way, I just finished The Rest Falls Away last night (as part of RIP II), and wrote a review on my blog!

  20. Miraphora says:
