…is now.
I love the autumn: the smells, the sights, the feeling of starting anew (even though the plants and trees are ready to curl up and sleep for a few month), the clothes (big, bulky sweaters), and the food! Hot cider, chili, soup, pumpkin muffins, caramel apples…yuuuuum. Hayrides and bonfires and barn dances too.
I do love autumn. It was in autumn that I met my Music Man and we began our relationship. We visited a nearby cider mill one day, and that has become an annual trek for us and now our children.
What's your favorite autumn custom?
Also…I just placed an order for my new Powered by Vis Bulla tees…I should have them within a week or so, so if you're interested, go here to order. Wheee!

The second installment of the Gardella Vampire Chronicles takes Victoria to Venice and Rome.

My favorite autumn custom? Chilly Chili! The very first crisp day of Fall I slow cook a pot of chili on the stove all day long. Close to dinnertime, I whip up some frybread and we have a feast with all the trimmings (sour cream, onions, cilantro, cheese). It’s just so yummy and I look forward to it every year.

Love the new tees!!
Not so much a fan of Autumn except when it’s dry (here it rains usually a LOT). Spring is my favorite.

Autumn is my favourite time of the year too! I don’t really have a favourite custom, I just love everything about Fall! But most of all the leaves!

I’m with you…everything!
But one of my favorite things is just taking photos of all things autumn…from the browning cornfields, to the pumpkin patches, to the leaves in all their autumn glory. Just all feels so comforting, somehow.

I don’t have autumn in my neck of the woods. We have dry season and wet season. LOL

Fall is simply the best!
And, while I’m not big on actual costumes, my favorite fall wear is my jeans and a sweatshirt while the dog and I are out for a walk in the woods.

I would probably claim autumn as my favorite time of year IF we were actually having cool weather — but where I am, it’s still hot as blazes, which is typical for this time of year. So, even though I love the fall colors, etc., I have to say I really love winter because that’s when it’s cold (but only cold for Georgia — I’m sure the definition for “cold” changes depending on your geographical location).
