Wow I have so many Comedians that I love! However, Ellen Degeneres is still my favorite. I still have her first appearance on The Tonight Show on tape and I quote her bit about “when you ask a hunter why they hunt they respond ‘it’s such a beautiful animal’ I think my mother is beautiful but I don’t want her stuffed on my wall ‘mom had great legs too their in the other room’ “

My favorite comedians are Dutch. It’s a group of 4 young men and they call themselves De Lama’s. It’s on tv once a week and we have it on dvd. They are really funny and good!!

Ok. I’ve got to weigh in on my favorite comedian…
I became addicted to podcasts this past winter when I was poor and wanted new stuff to listen to. I started listening to Never Not Funny, a podcast hosted by the comedian Jimmy Pardo and featuring all of his friends from the LA Alternative Comedy scene. Jimmy Pardo has one of the fastest wits I have EVER heard. If you go to his myspace and watch his two new videos, you see how fast his riffs come out. It’s amazing. Jimmy is my #1 favorite comedian.
I’ve also became a huge fan of Jen Kirkman, another Alternative comedian out of LA. Her album Self Help is brilliant. I found Jen through the Guys With Feelings Podcast, which also features lots of Alternative Comedians.
Oh, and props to my #3: THE SKLAR BROTHERS! Gotta love them on Best Week Ever, and I definitely have to show support for two UMich grads! They’re also featured on Guys with Feelings and Never Not Funny a bunch. If you catch their Comedy Central Presents, it’s amazing!

Although he seems to be doing more acting than comedy these days, I’d still have to say Eddie Izzard. He cracks me up.

Favorite comedian? Hmmm, I don’t know that I have one. I guess I’ll have to say Robin Williams because I think he’s absolutely brilliant. I’d love to have a wit as quick as his.
