Winding down the year.

The year's winding down, and for me, it was a good one.

2007 will definitely be one of my good years because of my first book releases, and other changes in my life (for the better). Of course, there have been sorrows and difficulties (the loss of my grandmother, my son's hospitalization, the upsetting things happening in Darfur, Pakistan, and Iraq–and here in the US)…but all in all, a good year.

How about you? 2007–glad to see it go, or not?

Oh, and I blogged at the Wet Noodle Posse blog yesterday about the day I received The Call (that my first book had sold). That was a life-changing event that happened in 2005.

I'm off for lunch with one of my critique partners/readers. She's reading a new project I'm working on. I'm hoping to get a stamp of approval, but she's tough.

I was rready for this year to be over months ago. It has NOT been one of my better years. 2008 had best be an improvement or I’m going to be Very Displeased. *g*

For me 2007 was a dream year. Not only did I sell my first book, I sold three! I’ve met a lot of fantastic people online and my writing career is moving in the direction I wanted it to go.

I wish you the very best in 2008, Colleen! HUGS!

  4. Heather Harper says:

I’m sad to see my 2007 Zen flowers calendar go. :(

But I purchased a 2008 Georgia O’Keefe replacement to tack up by my plotting board, and I’ll continue to think of you when I look at it. :)

Bring on ‘08. Momma needs to shop a complete MS…

2007 was a good year, it was a year of setting things in motion so I’m super psyched about ‘08 YAY

2007 was a normal year (whatever that means!). Some good, some bad. Neither sorry nor happy to see it go. Jeez, that was boring, wasn’t it?
