Monday’s The Hotness

Sorry so late posting today. I (virtuously) got up, got the kids off to school (after a whole week of mid-winter break, which, by the way, I don't ever remember having mid-winter break when I was in school–let alone a whole week of it), worked out (gah!), met the Music Man for brunch, went to Borders and wrote for a bit (and spent money in their clearance section–great stuff).

Anyway, enough of the excuses. Here's some hotness for you to brighten up this bleak Monday afternoon.

Tomorrow, stay tuned for another Tuesday Rant (get ready) and also perhaps a final list of titles I've sent to my editor. Thanks so much for all your help.

Oh, and by the way…did Katherine Heigl annoy anyone else at the Oscars last night?

I mean, honey, if you're going to try and aspire to A-list, you don't get up to the Oscars podium when you're an announcer (*snort* as if she'd ever be accepting an award) and apologize for being bloody nervous.

Doh! She's getting on my nerves big time. Which is why I won't go see 27 Dresses, even though my daughter is dying to see it.

Okay, enough rants or I won't have anything left for tomorrow! Enjoy His Hotnesses.

Congrats to Mr. Bardem and  I loooooved the Spanish message to his lovely mother. So sweet. Love that accent too.

(Don't tell me you don't dig the way Mr. Pitt wears his pants. You know you do.)

(I was trying to explain to Music Man about the way guys wear their pants–what's hot and what's…baggy/saggy or too tight. He didn't get it. Sigh.)

OMG! I love the Oscars! They are my superBowl! I watched from noon yesterday (they had countdown till the Oscars) then the red carpet next the show and finialy the after party! I was up till 2am watching….long day. Any YES I dont like Katherine Heigl. I was soooo bumbed Johney Deph Didnt win best actor. And I was bumbed Keria Knightly wasnt even nomentated for Anotment. But you name it and I saw it last night. FUN.

ITA with stargazer; the Oscars are my Superbowl, too! I make dip and everything (a truly evil dip involving cream cheese, marinara sauce, and Frnch bread. Mmmm…)!
And, yes, Katherine Heigel annoyed me, too. I mean, get it together, girl! If Miley Freakin’ Cyrus can go out there and be calm and collected, so can you!

  3. marykate says:

Why?? Why does everyone hate my Katie Heigel? I love her. But she IS overexposed. Colleen, if you change your mind, I saw 27 Dresses this weekend. It’s cute, if very predictable.

And Javier totally is sex on a stick. When he gave his shout out to his mom, what he was saying was, “Mom, there’s this girl, MaryKate, living in Virginia, I love her WAAAAY more than Penelope Cruz.I’m going to go and fetch her and do things that are illegal in this country. Because I LOVE her!”

    Just so’s you guys know.

Colleen, sorry, but Brad looked like a 70s porn star at the Spirit awards. And definitely not in a good way.

    S’Alls I’m saying.

  4. Megan says:

The Oscars were snoozy, except for Javier. And, yes, I cannot stand Katherine Heigl. That Miley Cyrus has a great speaking voice, although she always looks like she’s just finished sucking on a lemon.

  5. Sparky Duck says:

what else was this Bardem character in. All dressed up he looks darn familiar

  6. Linda says:

The Oscars are usually a never miss for me and last night was no exception. I was really excited that the Cohen brothers won big, for “No Country”. I thought that it was a fantastic film. I was bummed too that Johnny Depp didn’t win Best Actor for Sweeney Todd.

I love Katherine Heigl and thought that it was really refreshing to see a celeb acting normal.

Oh, and Javier Bardem absolutely delicious !
