…but I've been loving me some McDonald's lately.
I know, I know!
But they have this great Asian chicken salad. It's sooo good, and pretty healthy, especially if you keep the sauce off it and use the non-fat dressing and get it with grilled chicken.
It's got veggies galore. Much better than most other Asian salads you get in sit-down chains. Edamame, roasted red peppers, peapods, almonds, mixed greens, oranges…yum.
And it's $5! You can't beat that.
So how do you eat healthy when you've got to eat on the go? Any fast-food suggestions?

The second installment of the Gardella Vampire Chronicles takes Victoria to Venice and Rome.

That’s always hard for me. I love the McDonald’s salads and also I tend to keep bags of almonds in my computer bag so that I have a healthy snack around when I’m running low on sugar. I love hitting up Wendy’s for a $1 baked potato and the wraps from any of the fast foodies can be great. Burger King even has a Veggie Burger lately.

When I travel, I never eat healthy. LOL! I love me some Chik Fil-A. Love it. That’s my favorite fast food. If not, I eat Mickey D’s, but I’m a QP w/cheese girl.

Not sure I could survive (traveling or staying home) without Chik-Fil-A (we had it for dinner last night!) And, as Deneishia said, Wendy’s is great for their baked potato — and their $1 chili (not sure if either one is healthy but they’re so good!!) I like salads but it’s all the bad stuff in them that makes them good — so even that ends up being not so healthy. Hmmm…I don’t think I eat very healthy, now that I think about it.
