Booksigning pics so you can see my new ‘do.

Okay, I realize that those of you who are used to seeing my author photo (the official one that graces the back of my covers, website, and blog) will look at my new 'do and say, "but it looks the same…just a little more curly!"

And technically, that's true. But, you have to realize, I had my author photo taken in spring 2006, and I haven't had my hair cut (just trimmed) since then. So it's been past my shoulders (as those of you who've seen the video of me at RomanceNovel.tv will note) until this last Wednesday.

Anyway, I love my new cut.

And so here I am at my B&N signing last night.

Thanks to Marie, Emily, Holli, Tam, Laura, Kendra, and I'm forgetting the name of the woman who bought all three books…and two other people, darn it….for stopping by! Great to see you all.

My son took this other pic, and I had to lighten it up, but you get the idea.

And the best part: it's EASY! Easy hair! Love easy hair.

LOVING YOUR HAIR! Mine is also red…just curlier but has a similiar look to it when it’s short…it reminds me of a red-head SJP who is FABULOUS! i am growing it out right now to donate when it’s long enough. *elizabeth

How could your Music Man and son say it looked “ugly”!?!? It looks hot and fabulous!!! You go girl - glad you had a good book signing.(Hope maybe someday I can take a road trip and get to one!) I spent 4 hours in B&N today. For my daughter’s 13th b-day she took 3 friends with her to the mall and my hubby and I tucked ourselves away in the comfy chairs checking out books while they shopped. I checked out the last edition of “Erotica”(without letting the cover show - though my hubby liked it) to pass the time - ooh. Picked up a copy of Mario Acevedo’s X-Rated Blood Suckers after watching a Lego Book Trailer on Vampire Wire - rather entertaining. Babbling as usual - I’ll shut up now. :0 :)

  8. Colleen says:

Thanks ya’ll! I’m really liking it too.

And Music Man has come over from the dark side and says he really likes it too….but that’s partly because it is looking a lot better than it did the first day I had it done.

  9. Carl V. says:

Very cute ‘do! Looks like you’re all ready for spring…hope the shorter locks usher in the temps we are all longing for!

  10. Jan says:

    Hey Colleen

It looks different, but it does not look ugly or so. It somehow reminds me of Rizzo from Grease :-)

  11. Andrea says:

I think it looks great! I agree with Carl — it looks like you’re ready for spring. ;)

Glad to hear you had a great time at the signing!

  12. Stephanie says:

  13. booklogged says:

You look beautiful. And it’s especially super to see you signing books. Wish I lived closer so I could come.
