New stuff.

Just wanted to point out a few updates to the site and blog.

First, please note to the right, there, in the middle column of the blog, a handy-dandy link where you can add your email address to get A-U-T-O-matic updates sent to you every time I post here on For All the World To See. Pretty handy, huh?

Never miss another fascinating, scintillating, witty blog post again!

Second, for those of you champing at the bit…we now have an excerpt and sneak peek up on the site for When Twilight Burns…just click on "Books" above and you'll find that gorgeous book cover linking to its very own book page. Try not to drool on the keyboard, gals.

Aw, hell…you can just click here and I'll take you directly to the page. Sheesh.

Thirdly…well, there is no thirdly. I lied.

In other news, we've recovered from our trip to the museum on Thursday. Thank you for all of your condolences, and Cheryl, I'm glad it was us not you! Can't believe you were down there too!

Speaking of Prince (yes, yes, I was…did you catch it?)…what do you think of The Artist Formerly Known As? Favorite track? Album? Did you like Purple Rain (the movie)?

Favorite track: Kiss

Album: 1999

Movie: At the time, yes. Haven't seen it since, though.

How about an '80s earworm to start the week?

Me? I love me some Prince when he’s being that sexually ambiguous dirty boy. My all time favorite Prince song is Get Off. SIGH. It’s all dirty and about the sexin’. I love it.

Hope everyone had a dandy weekend!

YAY! A new excerpt! As for Prince, my favorite song in When Doves Cry, my fave album is Purple Rain, and as for the movie… well, the only time I ever saw it was in the company of my parents when I was about 12, so…awkward.

I have been listening to TONS of prince lately. It just randomly started.

  4. Jennifer Armintrout says:

Best band movie of all time. Yes, even above Hard Day’s Night and Spice World.

“I Would Die 4 U” is the best song off that album, hands down.

  5. Michelle (MG) says:

Purple rain was not bad. My favourite song is When Doves Cry. I also like Diamonds and Pearls. I liked Prince back then. He’s a very talented guy, if a little weird! LOL

    OMG new excerpt! yay.
and Prince too YAY. he’s the reason I started playing music in the first place, my little travel size imaginary husband! I was obsessed! even after WB started charging him $12 every time he signed his name, even on personal checks LOL (thus the formally known as) he was not my first crush that was George Harrison and Eric Clapton but then Prince was there and boom. Of course when I got older I still loved the music. There are so many songs and I have all the movies memorized well give me a break I was a teenager! ok…here we go

Favorite song: Glass Cutter (2005 or 6 release) or “another lover hole in the head” from parade album. but I like so much of his stuff and have so much rare stuff. hard to choose.

Favorite movie: Under the Cherry Moon (Oh come on. it is hilarious that it’s so bad! great soundtrack)

    Favorite Album: Musicology
