Napping is coming back!
By coming back, I mean, back now that I'm an adult, but not a senior citizen, and no longer pregnant. (Those seem to be the only times napping is acceptable).
But not any more! Check this out. (I'm too lazy and under too much of a deadline to summarize; you're going to have to click over and read. Sorry.)
I like my afternoon naps. Thirty to forty-five minutes in the mid-afternoon (right before the kiddies get home from school)…what a treat.
And now, I can legitimately call it "brain food."
Life is good.

The second installment of the Gardella Vampire Chronicles takes Victoria to Venice and Rome.

I’ve been napping for years! Does a body (and brain) good! I’m all for it!

When I taught high school, I used to lock my door and take a thirty minute nap at my desk during my planning period; if I hadn’t, I NEVER could have gotten through last period alive! I’m SO excited that naps are back for grown-ups now. You gotta be nice to your body!

Naps are good…if only I could get more in! I can usually get one in on the weekends when I am trying desperately to read but just can’t keep my eyes open any longer!

Woot!! I love napping, especially if I’m at home and my cats colonize me while I’m on the couch
And now I don’t have to feel guilty anymore if I drop off cold during the afternoon lessons at university…

You felt guilty about a nap?? My goodness. How else do you work out plot points if you don’t stretch out, give your body a break, treat your eyes to some lovely eyelid art, and let your mind wander?

Please, pleeeease…can we insist that the next person we elect President make it a law that we have to have nap time during the work day. Please?
