He said “new-cleer”!

….not “new-queue-leer.”

That was what my husband leaned over and said to me during Obama’s speech tonight. LOL.

Did you watch it? What did you think?

I read your story in the Mammoth Book of Vampire Romance…Great! Off of that story I am with Sabation…wink*

I heard it was the Second Coming. And I missed it.

Thanks, Stargazer! I had fun writing that story that would have occurred during THE REST FALLS AWAY…I was writing it while I was writing AS SHADOWS FADE. So very fun to juxtapose the characters early on with who I knew they turned out to be.

The man scares me to death! He will sell us down the river and does not know anything about the military. He is the least likely person to lead the country.

I thought Obama’s speech was inspirational! I’ve been staying up waaaaay too late this week watching the convention.

  7. Holli says:

I thought his speech was informative and inspirational. I was a bit of a skeptic at first, given his lack of experience, but I’m liking him more and more. What about McCain’s choice of VP?!! There’s a surprise. I don’t know much about Palin, but I can’t imagine she’s ready to step into the presidency, should the need arise.
Interesting move on the political chessboard, though.

Obama’s speech was phenomenal!! The man is such an inspiration! I can’t imagine a better person to try to lead our country. Bush has left us a laughing stock in the world today. Such an idiot. It’s nice to see an intelligent politician for once!

and what did you think colleen?

  10. CJHill says:

You’ve got to admire a man who can say “I am my brother’s keeper” while his flesh and blood brother lives in a crude hut and exists on $1.00 a month…

As for Sarah Palin, Holli, check her out. Of the four candidates, she is the only one (and I’m including McCain) that has actual experience in running anything. She’s been a mayor and she is a governor who has fought for the people. She’s an amazing choice.

Hey Lori…I thought that Obama is an excellent orator, and that he was very inspirational.

I’m waiting to see McCain’s speech this week, too.

CJ, I’ve been following the McCain choice of Palin very closely. Very interesting, very strategic.
