A very talented fan from Down Under sent me a link to an image that just blew me away. Jayde is an art student. She’s been reading the Gardella books, and was inspired to create her image of Victoria.
She was then kind enough to allow me to share it with all of you. Isn’t it just so…perfect? I love it. (you can click on it to make it slightly bigger…to see the details)
As a writer, I find it very humbling and am so very complimented when my stories inspire others to create. And it’s also fascinating to see how what I’ve envisioned can come to life in different ways, for different people. It touches me, it’s a very special thing…and I can’t tell you how it made my day when I got Jayde’s email.
(Funny thing…her email came when I was finishing up a new book in which the heroine’s name is…Jade. Wow, huh?)

Exquisite! This artist has some other lovely images as well, but this is a truly beautiful interpretation of Victoria and her atmosphere.
Hmmm…maybe you could try to coerce her to work as a cover artist…I’d be tempted to buy a book based on that artwork alone!

AWESOME!!! Jayde is a wonderful talent. It is amazing how one art inspires another art. I constantly think of songs during the day and pepper my speech with lyrics. Keep up the great work.
