Literary Men. Gotta Love’em.

Bookfool just tagged me with this great meme, and I'm going to jump right in and answer it…and then it'll be your turn. Savvy?

“Ten Literary Characters I Would Totally Make Out With If I Were Single and They Were Real But I’m Not, Single I Mean; I Am Real–But I’m Also Happily Married and Want to Stay That Way, So Maybe We Should Forget This…”

No way! This sounds like too much fun! So…here goes:

1. Roarke from the JD Robb books (but only if Eve Dallas wasn't around; I don't want to get stunned)

2. Ian di Vipont from Roberta Gellis's Roselynde Chronicles. Ooooh…and Adam LeMagne too. Yum.

3. The Weasley brother who studies dragons. (Can't remember his name. Is he the one who married Fleur?)

4. Radcliffe Emerson from Elizabeth Peters' Amelia Peabody books.

5. Jack Sheridan from Robyn Carr's Virgin River books.

6. Joe Morelli Ranger from the Stephanie Plum books. (See, I'd marry Joe, but I'd make the hell out with Ranger.)

7.  Jim Frayne from the Trixie Belden books. (ahhh….my first literary crush)

8. Mr. Darcy.

9./10.  Max Pesaro/Sebastian Vioget

(Yeah, it's probably a little cheesy to want to make out with my own characters…but, ya'll, I created them. I know they'd be good.)

Anyone else want to jump in? You don't have to name ten….just as many as you want.

Oh, and I'm officially tagging Jenny Armintrout, MaryKate, and Katie.

The Eight Things About Me Meme

I got double-tagged by two of my Noodler friends, Trish and Mary, to answer this meme in which I list eight things about myself that you probably don't know.

Since ya'll don't know *that* much about me, it should be easy. Right? Hmmm.

Okay. Here goes:

1. My family tree contains a bonafide saint–Brother Andre, a French Canadian.

2. I have six piercings, and you can't see all of them when I'm fully clothed.

3. I've been to Tahiti, but not to Hawaii or Mexico.

4. I looooove hummus, but I hate garbanzo beans. Go figure that one.

5. I've never read Anne Rice. And that's actually a shame, because when my Music Man and I were courting many years ago, he bought me Interview with a Vampire, The Vampire Lestat, and The Queen of the Damned and he wrote the most beautiful, loving, funny love notes inside the front covers of each of them. I still have those books–will never get rid of them–but I haven't read them.

6. I absolutely adore James Garner, and particularly love him in Maverick, Victor/Victoria, and Sunset

7. I am a closet Barry Manilow fan. (Eeek! I can't believe I admitted that!)

8. But I'm also a big Liz Phair fanatic. (How's that for redemption?)

Okay, that was lame, but I followed through on my tags. So, I'm technically supposed to tag eight more people….but I'll leave it up to any of you who want to participate. Let me know in the comments.

Five Crazy Things About Me(me)

Both Jaci and Milady Insanity have tagged me to answer the meme "Five Crazy Things About Me…."

It took me all day to come up with five crazy things about myself 'cause, well, I'm not crazy. I keep telling myself that loud enough, it'll drown out all those voices in my head.

Okay, here goes:

1. I hate garbanzo beans, but I love hummus.

2. I can't get into a bed unless it's made. Even if I have to make it five minutes before I get in, I have to get into a made bed.

3. I can raise each one of my eyebrows independently of the other, one at a time. I can do this quickly or slowly. I don't know anyone else who can do that. And if you ever meet me in person, ask me to demonstrate, 'cause people always disbelieve me when I tell them I can do this.

4. I talk to myself. Constantly. (Hey! That's 'cause I think I'm the most interesting person I know!)

5. I went to an all-girls' Catholic high school. (You know what Billy Joel says about those Catholic girls, right? Wink)

Okay, so I tag Jana, Trish Mi, Janet, and Carl.
