Hope ya'll don't mind, but I've been missing my Retro Tuesday posts.

So I'm bringing it back, starting today. Hope you enjoy this flashback to the '80s.

I graduated high school in 1985, so I grew up in the thick of those heart-swelling, tear-jerking power ballads.

And being a hormonal teen-ager, they did their job, let me tell you. Could be why I grew up to write romantic novels, huh?

Anyway, thought I'd post a couple of my favorites from that time. Hope brings back some memories on this (dreary in Michigan) Friday.

What did you rollerskate to with glitter balls and disco lights?

(Steve Perry just looks soooo uncomfortable in those friggin’ tight jeans. Sheesh.)

Just ’cause Sunday’s show left me wanting more…He still effing rocks, doesn’t he? Hasn’t changed a bit. Still very very sexy.

What was your favorite Prince song?

Haven't done one of these in awhile…name the band and the song!

1. I'm just going to keep counting until you are mine

2. Every time you call my name, I heat up like a burning flame

3. This is it boys, this is war

4. I can't understand what make a man hate another man

5. I can't sleep at night, I toss and turn

6. I know you really want to tell me goodbye

7. Food is served and you're stone cold munchin'

8. Don't let go while I'm hangin' on, cause I been hangin' on so long

9. We can dance, everybody look at your hands

10. I know a place where we can dance the whole night away underneath electric stars

11. I know a good thing must come to an end but its hard to take losing a friend

12. Well Superman looked up at me, he said "You rock so naturally"

13. You can say anything you like, but you can't touch the merchandise

14. You want a piece of my heart, you better start from start

15. But when the wrong word goes in the right ear, I know you been lyin' to me

Now, gals (and guys) of the '80s….take yourself back to wherever you were, whatever condition you were in, whatever memories you have of those action adventure movies of the '80s….and tell me, which (hot) action hero floated your boat…back then.

Disregard any current events, impressions, opinions that you, in your maturity might allow to influence your memories and let me know…which one?

Me? I'm mostly into the Door Number Two kinda guy.

EDITED TO ADD: Since most of you are voting for Door Number Two (and I can see why!), tell me what you think about the fourth installment of Indy and Co. Is it going to be awful? Or will it be fun?

I say…fun, only if Sean Connery is in it too.
