I just finished my latest book and I feel like celebrating.
Which book did I just finish, you ask? Well, it’s the first in a new series for teens coming out in 2013. (That’s a really long time, isn’t it? Yikes.)
It’s a gaslight fantasy set in a very steampunkish Victorian London, starring Miss Alvermina Holmes (the niece of Sherlock) and Miss Evaline Stoker (the half-sister of Bram and a descendant of none other than Victoria Gardella). It was a lot of fun to write and I can’t wait for it to be released!
But until then, I want to celebrate by giving away a copy of the winner’s choice of any of my currently published books. Either in E or print, winner’s choice, and open to my international readers as well!

I really enjoyed the first Gardella book because it was so very different from the typical paranormal romances that I read. Not only did it take place in the Victorian era, but *gasp* vampires were the bad guys! Actually, I loved the entire series.
I would love to have any one of your other books, as I simply haven’t picked them up yet.
Congratulations on finishing this latest! I can’t wait to read it. And I’m really curious this descendant of Victoria’s. Fun stuff!

I loved the Gardella series so any one of those is my favorite. I would like to win Either a sanctuary of roses or a whisper of rosemary. I am excited to check out these new books. They sound exciting!

My fav book is definately When Twilight Burns
because of all the sexual tension between Max and Victoria. I read the sparring scene over and over before continuing with the book.
The book I want is The Rest Falls Away because I only have it in spanish and I would like to have the complete series in English.
My fav character is, to my husband’s dismay, Max. I love those uptight men who are just fire inside!

Hi My favorite character has to be Sebastian! His going against Bernard was the best! I loved his end when he turned vampire and hope that you continue with his story in future books;) I would probably want when twilight burns.

I’m a huge fan of most vampire books but I love your Gardella series for it’s uniqueness. I enjoy Sebastian the most. I think he really gives Victoria a run for her money. I’d love ‘The Rest Falls Away’ because I want to get the whole series. I’m one of those people that like reading books over again.

I have to say I loved both the Gardella and Regency Draculia series. If I had to chose a favorite I think it’s Vampire Dimitri, just wow! However, I must say Max is a VERY close second. I also very much enjoyed Bound by Honor which you wrote under Collette Gale, I think if I could I would love one of the other 2 you wrote under that name or one of your Medieval Herb Garden Books, those look like they would be a great read. Looking forward to your new series and I’ll be sure to share it with my daughter. Congratulation on finishing the book.

My favorite scene(s) are from the Gardella books.
The first being Max and Victorias first kiss. I was ELATED. I wanted them together since the beginning and its now the 3rd book! lol Anyway I love that Max wanted it but did not show it..(later withhis cracked nails)
My second is the first love scene. I love it when fighting turns into love making. I love Max, and the way he had to stop and fight with himself. I love that he just wasnt strong enough to NOT finish what they started.
I love all the love scenes between Max and Victoria. The one on the stairs because he realized she had not been with Sebastian and was ‘very thourough’ And the way he HAD to have her when he became a venator again.
Finally I love it when Sebastian confesses his love. Although I am team Max, this scene conflicted my feelings and I learned that I loved Sebastian a little too, and my heart broke for him.

But I guess the scene that took my breath away was in your Gardella Vampire Chronicle when Max and Victoria made love for the first time…

The two book would be the first book of your Regency Draculia or Your second book of your Medieval Herb Garden (I’ve read your lavender one so far…awesome!) Plus I am looking forward to you new series that ties Holmes, Bram, and Gardella… Wahoo!

The Gardella series is my favorite! I love the characters and the setting is spectacular!

This was a very hard decision to make.. I absolutely love all the the Gardella Vampire Chronicles. I love the tension between Max and Victoria.. As Shadows fade is probably the my favorite because Max and Victoria finally come together and all of the tension between them comes to a climax. I do wish I knew what happened to them after the wedding.
I would love to read the Medieval Herb Garden Series..Any of them would be great..
Victoria Gardella is definitely my favorite character.. The way you have written her character the reader can feel as if they are in her place…She is a awesome heroine.
I am so excited for your new book. If you do for steam-punk London what you have done for Envy it is going to be a definite hit.

I believe you have read enough of my reviews to know I simply LOVE your talent! My favorite scene, however, remains THE KISS in “The Bleeding Dusk”. I have expressed my love for this scene on more than one sight. Even braving those Smart B*tchs Who Love Trashy Novels to express my love for that scene. It is simply the perfect balance of everything for which I read a romance novel.
What book would I like if you chose me? I have all the Gardellas and the Regency Draculias, as well as Lavender Vows. The Shop of Shades and Secrets sounds interesting, but should I win, I would like you to choose. I’ve been caught up in the crazy thing that is my life for the past couple of years and I am now ready to settle down to reviewing again, so, what would YOU like me to read?

I love the Gardella Series but if I had to choose a Book it would be The Rest Falls Away as it sets the scene for the start of the LOVE TRIANGLE I so look forward to reading about. If I had to choose a scene it would be in the carriage when Sebastian and Victoria get their groove on. I so would loved to have been around in those days with all the long skirts and darkened carriages.
My favourite character is Max as he sounds like the one I would be most attracted to.

My favorite book is absolutely Embrace the night eternal
I’d like to have the sequel Abandon the night because in Italy, it will release the next year and I’m so impatient
My favorite charatcter? So difficult… I think Quentin Fielding…. so interesting! But also the charming and sexy Max Pesaro.

I love all the books of the Gardella Series (her in Italy we could only read at the moment the Gardella one and the first 2 books by Joss Ware). If I have to choose a book, it would be As shadow Fade because finally we can have Victoria and Max together! It was so lovely their affair! And I adore the Love triangle too!
My favourite character is Sebastian, I love the way you described him, and I think he is the perfect guy (at least, for me!!!
)
It would be an honour for me to have one of your original books (and not in the italian translation!), it would be a dream coming true!

I would say that I would love to read LAVENDER VOWS. I love the cover – it just draws you in. The theme is very unique which is always a plus for me.
The Gardella Vampires are sitting nicely (or as nicely as they can) on my keeper shelf.

Hey!
One of my favorite scenes was when Victoria and Max got together for the first time. Another is the first time Victoria was getting all dolled up and putting stakes in her hair and hiding them in her corset. It was such a classic scene with a whole new twist.
I can’t pick a favorite book though, each one of your series feel like one really long epic of a book. It’s wonderful.
And my favorite character is Max probably because he is always there when we need him, when we want him and hell, even when we don’t!
I’d like “The Shop of Shades and Secrets” if I win.

Congratulations on finishing another book!
I’ve read both the Gardella and Envy series and loved them both. My favorite book is the last of the Gardella books. I really wanted Max and Victoria to get together. But….my favorite character is Zoe in the Joss Ware books. She was mysterious and kicked ass! I really liked how she took care of herself and could take on the men. I enjoyed any scene when she was fighting or attacking with her homemade arrows.
I’m looking forward to reading the other vampire series you have. Haven’t had a chance to pick up one of those yet.

You have captured my imagination with the Gardella Chronicles and spun a web of intrigue and lust. I love the interplay between Max, Victoria and Sebastien and really want to read more of their adventures. I was torn through the whole series of which would she choose? The bad boy who’s cheeky and life and soul of the party or the good boy who’s serious but troubled.
I would also love to read more of the beginnings of the Gardellas and how they came to be the vampire hunters they are today.
I would like to read any of your non-vampire romances or those by your alter-ego or even better the new book!

HI I love the gardella book my favorite book when twilight burns. Every one of them is brilliant. The first was gd but every one after that just got better an better an some of twists an turns in them just blow my mind

The book I would like to win would be as shadows fade as I live in the uk I can’t buy it over here an its killing me not knowing what happens, but on the other hand I don’t want to read as that means it Finnished lol.
AN I think my favorite charter would be max because he’s so mysterious. But that could change after I read the final book
I would love t have your books made in to a film. IT would be a much bigger hit than twilight. Your writing is very intense at times an you find think out about the character’s that you could never think of.

I will admit I have not read any of your books but after a friend raved about your books to me I went out immediately and purchased the first 3 books in the Gardella series and I cant wait to read them.
The book I would love to win would be the first book in your Regency Draculia Series, The Vampire Voss. I would like this book because it would allow me to have the beginning of another of your series and the books just sound soo good. I cant wait to sink my teeth into them. LOL.
I have been a fan of paranormal romance/fiction & paranormal/historical fiction for a VERY long time and I cant wait to add you books to my growing list of favourites and to fall in love with them as so many others have already.

I really love the Gardella books I’ve read (still catching up), especially the time period they take place in. Any scene with Sebastian and all that tension would be my favorite.

This is a tough one. I LOVED The Vampire Dimitri, but I also LOVED The Vampire Narcise. Both books were so good! Oh and the sexual tension was just amazing.

I’ve read your Gardella Books numerous times, and I LOVE them! I’m a Max girl all the way, so any scene with him and Victoria is a favorite of mine. The sexual tension between those two is thick enough to cut with a knife! I was so happy when they finally got together!
Your new YA book sounds intriguing. I love YA, too, so I’m excited to get my hands on it!

Admittedly I’ve only read one of your books… The Shop of Shades and Secrets. And I loved it. But my TRUE faves are the Envy Chronicles by Joss Ware. Post-apocalyptic yummyness with zombies? YES PLEASE! Can’t even tell you which my favorite scene or character is, because there are just too many. I’m partial, however, to Zoe (cuz she kicks ass) and Simon (because he’s so wonderfully tortured).
